Clovelly Fields Camping at The Milky Way

We're sorry but we're unsure whether we will operate as a campsite in 2021 and so we can't accept any enquiries or bookings at this time.

Our NEW pop up campsite for tents is perfect for families and couples looking to escape to rural North Devon. PLUS we've just added some Bell tents for those looking for a reduced hassle option!

Sit back and soak up the glorious views of the surrounding countryside, watch the sheep graze peacefully on the surrounding pasture or take a walk through the fields to discover the stunning coastal view across the bay to Saunton Sands at our brand new North Devon campsite!

This may be a pop up site but you can still look forward to large flat or gently sloping pitches, washing up facilities, showers and toilets with sinks - all set up with social distancing and extra cleaning precautions in mind.

You’re only 5 minutes away by car from the South West Coast Path and the world famous fishing village of Clovelly, with its cobbled street and picture perfect harbour.

Buck’s Mills beach is just 2 miles away and is perfect for rock pooling and playing in the sea at low tide, or there’s miles of sandy beach at Westward Ho! just 10 miles away, plus in the other direction you’ll find top notch surfing at Sandymouth or Bude.

A short walk from your pitch will take you to the North Devon Wake Park with its cool, chilled out surf vibe. Sit outside the clubhouse with a coffee or beer and enjoy watching the action on the lake which includes wakeboarding, an inflatable aquapark and more ...or give it a go yourself!

Of course you also get to enjoy all the family fun of The Milky Way Adventure Park. Check out our recent TripAdvisor reviews and you'll see that we're taking safety very seriously, whilst still managing to provide lots of much needed fun! Book a pitch this August and you can choose VIP tickets to the park, saving you over £15 for a family of 4.

Make sure you book in advance for the Wake Park activities and Milky Way though – as there is restricted capacity right now.

Things to note:
  • Sorry no dogs - there are too many sheep living in the fields all around us!
  • We have showers and toilets - they are on trailers and similar to those used at festivals, as well as washing up facilities
  • Raised BBQ's and Firepits are allowed but no fires or BBQ's directly on the ground and no foraging for wood. BBQ's & firepits must have continuous adult supervision and use seasoned firewood logs, charcoal or briquettes only. They must be kept within your pitch but away from tents, cars etc and fully extinguised before bed.
  • One car is allowed to drive onto the pitch - extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area alongside the field. Please note that in wet weather you may not be able to drive your car onto your pitch. No vehicle movement between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. - you should leave your car on the hard standing alongside the field if you wish to arrive or leave between these times.
  • This is a quiet site perfect for families and couples. Group bookings of 4 or more adults and single-sex bookings of 3 or more people are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted)
