At The Milky Way we take the hassle out of birthday parties, making them a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved. You can enjoy all of the facilities and attractions on offer at the park from the moment we open until the time we close, plus we’ll prepare a fantastic birthday lunch or tea, at a time that suits you. You can choose from two menus:
Our traditional party spread includes sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese, sausages, crisps, fruit, carrot & cucumber sticks, assorted biscuits and unlimited squash. Menu may vary slightly according to availability.
Our hot menu provides a choice of 100% beef burgers, cheese burgers, veggie nuggets, chicken nuggets, cod nuggets and sausages all served with chips and unlimited squash. Children will be asked to choose what they would like with their chips when they arrive.
The park opens at 10am and closes at 5pm or 6pm depending on the time of year. Your party may arrive and depart at any point during these opening hours however we recommend you allow a minimum of 3 hours for the party. We will have your party food ready in the designated restaurant/cafe at your chosen time (subject to availability and confirmation).
A birthday cake is not included but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
A fun packed Birthday Party at The Milky Way costs £12.95 per child (3+ years) and £10 per child (1 and 2 year olds) which includes entry and food. Birthday parties are for a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 15 children, must be booked at least 1 week in advance and are available to locals only.
One adult is admitted free of charge with every child, additional adults are charged at £5 each (limited number available). To avoid unforeseen entry charges we strongly recommend that you inform any party guests bringing additional adults (not within your allowance of free or £5 adults) or any siblings that they will be charged the standard entry fee on arrival.
Any children with a valid Annual Pass on the day of the party will be charged £6 each which includes entrance and food.
There is a £5 charge payable per child as a deposit to confirm your booking – the remaining balance will be payable when you arrive. Please note that it may not be possible to increase your numbers later, so please do book for the maximum you might need - even if your final numbers are less we will deduct the entire deposit from your final bill so you won’t lose any money. We ask you to contact us the week before the party to confirm your final numbers.
Party bags are available for £2.50 per child and contain a selection of gifts. Party bags are suitable for primary school age children and below.
