Ahead of your visit to The Milky Way, there are a few things we need to let you know to make sure that you have a day that’s out of this world...
PARK ENTRY TICKETS - STANDARD TERMS
- All tickets are non-refundable.
- All tickets bought online are not available for re-sale and have no cash value.
- Should you need to change the date of your visit you are able to do this online if you create an account when booking. Changes are subject to availability and have to be made at least 48 hours in advance of your booking date. A charge of £1.50 per person will be payable - maximum charge of £5 per booking.
- If there is more than 48 hours before your visit date and you are unable to change your tickets online please email [email protected] with your request, including your booking reference number. We will move your tickets, subject to availability and apply the extra charges outlined above. These extra charges will be payable on arrival at the park.
- Requests to change the date of a booking that are received less than 48hours from your date of visit are considered absolutely at our discretion.
- Concession tickets, re-admission tickets and disabled/carer tickets are not available to be used in conjunction with other offers. Proof of eligibility must be presented for our entrance staff to validate before entering the park. Failure to present acceptable proof of eligibility will result in extra charges to enter the park.
- Where an exclusive offer, locals’ offer or discount code has been used, proof of eligibility (as described with the offer) must be presented to our entrance staff to validate before entering the park. Failure to present acceptable proof of eligibility will result in extra charges to enter the park.
- We never provide discount codes to discount websites, please do not use discount codes from these sites, to avoid disappointment.
- There is a small extra charge for several of our attractions (Ninja Stars Assault Course, Pottery Painting & Penalty Pro Shootout.
Admissions
- Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- We will endeavour to keep all attractions operational during opening hours. Very occasionally, due to our policy of continuing improvement or events beyond our control, some attractions may have to be withdrawn without prior notice. The Milky Way in its absolute discretion reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to close the whole or any part of the park at any time.
- We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to refuse admission to the park, ban from entry to the park, or remove from the park without right to refund any person who acts in a manner that the management of The Milky Way feel to be inappropriate and/or undesirable.
- The management reserve the right to approach your dog / dogs to assess their temperament and any dog showing signs that they could cause potential upset or harm to other guests (especially younger children) will not be admitted or will be asked to leave. This includes excited behaviour, such as excessive barking and jumping up.
- In the interests of the public and the health and safety of our visitors, The Milky Way reserves the right to refuse entry to the park in the event that the capacity for visitors at the park is reached and/or exceeded.
At The Park
- Parking in our main car park is included with your ticket at no extra charge. However, The Milky Way cannot accept any responsibility for damage or theft to any vehicles whilst on these premises. All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
- Bare skin, nylon and polyester WILL burn on the slides - to avoid friction burns and damage to clothing please wear appropriate trousers/leggings, long-sleeved tops and socks.
- For hygiene purposes socks are mandatory throughout our play areas - we sell spares if needed.
- We’re proud to be an all-weather attraction, but make sure to bring warm and waterproof layers according to the forecast.
- Sensible shoes are a must if you want to enjoy all of the fun on offer!
- Some rides/attractions have specific safety advice. Please make sure to read and abide all safety guidance provided to you and to follow the instructions of our park staff. Height restrictions for our rides are available on our website.
- If you are bringing a dog to the park, you must read in full, and abide, by our dog policy, and sign a disclaimer that you agree to this policy when you arrive at the park.
Your Data
- The information in our online booking form will only be used to process your booking and to help us understand our customers and improve what we offer.
- We don’t handle or store any credit card details, and we won’t use your details for any other purpose unless we specifically ask for your permission. We take your privacy very seriously - for more details on how we handle personal data please click here to see our privacy policy.
- Little Stars Tickets - Variations to Standard Terms
- Should you need to change the date of your visit, your tickets can be changed up to 2 hours before the session start time and used on a different day for a charge of 50p per person, maximum charge £2.50 per booking. All requests should be emailed to [email protected] - please include your booking reference.
- Please remember socks for your children. It is mandatory that they must be worn at all times in the Little Stars play areas.
Gift Vouchers
- Vouchers are non-refundable.
- Vouchers are not available for re-sale and have no cash value.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
- A voucher code will be emailed to the recipient and can be used as part or full payment to purchase tickets or passes online or at the park entrance.
- Any residual credit will remain on the gift card to be redeemed on a future date.
- Vouchers cannot be used at our retail or catering outlets onsite.
Variations to Standard Terms -
Locals Offer Tickets
- You must bring along your proof of address, so that our entry team can confirm eligibility. As per the terms of the offer your proof of home address should have a postcode starting EX, PL or TQ and be in the name of the cardholder that made this booking, who must be present on arrival at the park. Failure to provide these details may result in extra charges before entering the park.
Complimentary Tickets
- Your physical complimentary ticket must be presented to our entrance staff to validate before entering the park.
Birthday Parties
- Birthday party deposits are non-refundable.
- We may be able to move the day of your party and carry forward your deposit if we have availability and 21 days or more notice, subject to an administration fee. To move the date of your party please email [email protected] with your request.
- Change requests or cancellations less than 21 days from the date of the party will result in a loss of your deposit.
- Birthday parties are for a minimum of 8 children – if your final numbers are less than this please note that you will still be charged for 8 children.
- If you have more than 16 children attending, you will need to book 2 party slots
- We will be in touch to request final numbers and details for your party in the week before. We need to have this information by the cut-off date provided in the email to be able to accommodate any specific dietary requirements and party gifts.
- Whilst access to the park is available throughout the day until closing, please make sure you have vacated the party room by 2.30pm to allow our team to clean down the area.
- The final balance will be due when you arrive at the park and must be paid in full in one transaction. We accept cash and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
Annual Passes
- Annual passes are non-refundable.
- Annual passes are not available for re-sale and have no cash value.
- Your passes are valid for 12 months from the date of your order and grant access to both the main park and Little Stars.
- Passes are not transferrable between family members and we will need to take a clear photograph of each pass holder on your first visit.
- Each family member MUST bring their annual pass with them, every time you visit.
- If an annual pass is being purchased for an individual under the age of 16, in doing so the parent/guardian purchasing the pass gives consent for the processing of the child’s data. Any annual pass holders under the age of 18 must still be accompanied by an adult in the park at all times.
- We do not offer a discounted annual pass for disabled guests. However, we do allow one carer pass (at the standard rates) per disabled guest which must be created in the disabled guests name (and carry their photo image), so that different carers can accompany the disabled guest as required.
- Annual pass holders are entitled to unlimited free visits on weekdays during Devon school term times and on weekends ALL year round (excludes some pre-book only event dates such as Christmas). There’s no need to book for these days, just show up!
- On weekdays during school holidays and our busiest pre-book only event dates (such as at Christmas), there is a small fee of £2.50-£3.50 per member.
- No need to book online (other than for guests (see below) and pre-book only event dates) – we will always reserve capacity for pass holders on peak days.
- The Primary Main Pass Holder of each family can invite up to 5 additional people per day at our re-admission saver rates (only one primary main pass holder per family).
- Re-admission tickets must be booked by the primary pass holder and paid for in advance on our website (tickets limited each day) and you must arrive together at the park.
- Any under 1's in your family, who do not have annual passes, are charged at the current re-admission rates.
- Pass holders are entitled to 10% discount in the Milky Way shop, Pottery Painting and all cafes on site, as well as discounted rates when attending birthday parties.
- Please note that your annual pass must be presented at point of purchase to be eligible for your on site discounts. We are unable to apply any discount retrospectively.
- Additional charges for some attractions still apply to annual pass holders - Ninja Stars, Pottery Painting and Penalty Shoot Out.
- If you purchased a carer card the name and photo of the disabled person will be used on the card so that different carers can accompany them to the park and you will need to show proof of disability on arrival.
- If you do not have your annual pass or you lose your annual pass and need a replacement card there will be an administration charge of £2.50 per card, to cover the replacement cost.
- Day tickets are not redeemable against the cost of an Annual Pass.
The Fairway
- Open to experienced golfers only. Golf clubs are not provided, and guests should bring their own set of golf clubs.
- For the safety of everybody, guests must always follow the guidance of our staff and anybody not taking their go must stand well behind the swing zone marker.
