All guests should bring a mask or suitable face covering with them when they visit (although we do have some available to buy) - in line with government guidance, to ensure the safety of our staff and other customers, we ask guests to continue to wear masks in all indoor areas, unless seated to eat or drink. Masks will be mandatory for our two indoor rides Blast Quest and The Dodgems from Monday 19th July.

Any staff working on rides or in close contact with guests will be wearing masks, unless working behind protective screens.


Entry to the park must be booked and paid for online in advance at this time. Unfortunately, for safety reasons we aren't accepting cash in some of our food outlets on park but we are able to accept cash in the shop. 

Genuinely well behaved, friendly dogs on leads are permitted in much of the site.

We regret that dogs are not permitted in the bird of prey centre, bird of prey shows, carpeted play areas or on the rides. The outdoor putting area and seating area outside Planet Play is also out of bounds for dogs whilst the outdoor bird of prey show takes place.

You will be asked to read and agree to our code of conduct for dogs when you arrive at the entrance.

Exceptions will be made for service dogs.

Only high winds can stop our rollercoasters. During this time they will operate in all but the heaviest downpours - so bring your water proofs!

We are a family adventure park and try to provide attractions that the whole family can enjoy together. We have roller coasters, jumping pillows, dodgems and live shows that teenagers normally enjoy - as long as they aren't expecting Alton Towers they should have an enjoyable day. It is also worth considering a trip to The North Devon Wake Park, located just at the other end of our car park where, for a separate fee they can try wakeboarding or have a go on the inflatable aqua park.

Unfortunately not. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Yes we are! 

Birthday parties are for a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 16 children, must be booked at least 1 week in advance and are available to locals only on Saturdays and Sundays, during term times.

The Milky Way is a family run business and we endeavour to support several charities and community engagement projects based in North Devon every year, through complimentary ticket donations.
We are happy to receive applications from registered UK charities based in North Devon or from local people who are raising money for charities (in which case we will need supporting documentation on letter headed paper that explains what the fund raising is for). We will also consider requests for community engagement projects based in North Devon. If you feel that your application meets one of these criteria’s, please email your request to [email protected] 

What we can donate

We will donate two tickets to The Milky Way Adventure Park to ten local projects or charity requests, every month.
We receive hundreds of requests each month and as much as we would love to, it is simply not possible for us to donate to everyone. At the end of every month, all requests will be placed in a hat and 4 winners will be picked independently by one of the Milky Way Team. If you have not heard from us within 4 weeks of your submission, we regret that your request has been unsuccessful.

Terms and Conditions

The Milky Way is open throughout the year and the complimentary tickets are valid during Term Times only. The tickets will not be valid for special events and exclude peak School Holiday dates. 
We have a limited number of slots available each day for free ticket entry and these must be booked online via our website in advance.
The online booking confirmation reference number and tickets must all be presented at the attraction to gain entry; defaced or photocopied letters or tickets will not be accepted under any circumstances. Each ticket can only be used once.
All tickets are non-exchangeable, have zero face value and must not be passed on or sold.

In addition to the above, our Sci-Fi exhibit has been donated by a collector - and all guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to Make-A-Wish® charity on entering the display.

We are pleased to offer discounted entry for disabled guests and their carer. (One discounted carer per disabled guest). Please select the Disabled Guest  ticket within Standard tickets. We ask that you present documentary proof of your disability on arrival (such as a blue/orange badge, DLA letter or similar).

Failure to show proof of your disability, will result in an additional charge to enter the park.

You can use VIP readmission vouchers at this time but you must have a valid VIP voucher in the same name as the card you use to pay for your online booking. Your VIP voucher, the number of people it is valid for and your payment card will be validated on arrival at the entrance. As we've been closed for a large part of the last year, we are currently happy to honour tickets which expired in March 2021. If we find that your passes are not valid, standard park entry prices will apply on the day.

If you're able to show proof that you've paid to visit since November 2020 (either an online booking or a bank statement), we would be happy to honour the VIP price. You need to book online and select the VIP option, then pay using a credit or debit card in the same name as on the original online booking / bank statement. You then need to bring this proof with you to show at the entrance when you arrive. If you're unable to provide satisfactory proof an additional charge will be payable on arrival.

We are pleased to be able to accept free & complimentary entry tickets from mid-September 2021. 

Spaces will need to be reserved online in advance, please select the FREE ENTRY TICK HOLDERS option on the online booking page 

Please ensure that you present your free / complimentary entry ticket on arrival as failure to show this will result in a charge to enter the park.


2019 Free Tickets – Tickets must be booked online, and The Milky Way visited by 21 November 2021

2020 Free Tickets – Tickets must be booked online, and The Milky Way visited by 31 March 2022

Please note that whilst we continue to operate at reduced capacity, we will limit the number of free tickets available each day.

Passes will be extended under similar terms to those offered in 2020. An email has gone out to all pass holders with full details. If you haven’t received this we apologise, it may be because you didn't provide your email on joining or it may be that it has gone to a spam folder. You can view the details here.

Unfortunately we have had to suspend all sales of Annual Passes at this time. As soon as we feel able to return to more normal capacity levels we will restart annual pass sales, but this is unlikely to be until the Autumn at the earliest.



Please contact us by email to [email protected] with the dates you would like to visit and approximate numbers and we will come back to you to confirm whether this is possible and prices etc.


For your convenience, we do have lockers availiable. They are located at the entrance of Planet Play £2 for 3 hours, £5 all day. You are also able to access your car at any point throughout the day and return to the park as often as required.

Everyone who visits has to book online in advance, due to capacity restrictions that emain in place

Tickets are available to book until October at this time. Tickets for Novemeber will be released in October.

We're continuing to restrict our capacity to ensure we can offer a safe experience. We have less capacity on wet days than dry, and so for dates in the future we only release the capacity suitable for a wet day to start with - once we're closer to the day we will release more availability if the forecast allows this.
