Never been here before and wasn’t sure how we would find it (family of four - children 12 and 5) as we just returned from a 3 week holiday in Florida. Firstly all the staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. The park is in tiptop condition and so clean and well presented. The shows (we saw the science show, inside bird show, Merlin magic show and the outside bird show) were really entertaining, informative and felt super intimate as there weren’t hoards of people everywhere.
Our lunch was delicious (we had paninis) and the restaurant was sparkly clean (not horrid and sticky like lots of other theme park eateries). The children loved the dodgems, ziggys blast quest (which was so much better than we thought it would be - the British version of Universal’s Men in black ride!) and we all enjoyed the maze! Beautiful scenery, great family vibe and lots to see and do. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much, we made lots of fun memories today.

Went today with my children on the first day open since covid-19 started. Our slot was 9.50-2 and I have to say i was very impressed, staff amazing, everything is a one way system, hand sanitizer everywhere at every ride, corridor etc. I was sceptical as both little stars and time warp are closed but still loads to do and the virtual queues and bird show was amazing. The place felt very safe, there were other families around but did not feel busy at all, it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves!!

Fantastic time at the milky-way. Went first session of opening after lock down on Saturday 11th July with my husband and two children aged 7 and 10. We are regulars to the milky-way and were so looking forward to going back. The place was spotless and clearly marked out, you could tell that they spent a lot of time preparing the venue. Staff were so friendly, all were wearing P. P. E but still looked friendly and spent the time to say hello. Lots were still open. We went on the jumping pillows, the huge slide outside, the bird show, maze, train, the kids went on the roller coaster 5 times, we went on ziggy's blast quest and the dodgems. Just a great day out. Was so good to be out after 15 weeks of not going anywhere. I felt so safe and happy and social distancing was fully adhered to. I would highly recommend, couldn't fault the safety measures. The manager Paul is always so nice and helpful. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely time and for making us feel so safe and welcome.

I have to say we were totally shocked by our visit today, in a good way! Incredible COVID organisation, staff wearing PPE, amazing cleaning regime, plenty of hand sanitizer, well marked out one way system, virtual queues and an obvious restriction on the number of people allowed to enter given that we rarely bumped into anyone. Great time spent by all made easier by a well organised and thought out system! Top marks to the management and staff great job, exactly how it should be done.

"We visited here literally on day 1 of the reopening, post Covid-19 lockdown. Both of our children are under 5 and the Milky Way could not have been anymore perfect.

From the moment we arrived we knew that every precaution had been taken from a safety/cleanliness perspective. The lady on the entrance who welcomed was excellent and really interactive with our children. This theme continued with every member of staff that we came across. A special mention to Barry who was overseeing the bouncy pillows. He was great.

The park is really well maintained and the attractions are brilliant, especially for younger children. Our two particularly loved the Caterpillar Rollercoaster, Doughnuts (Gravity ride), Dodgems and the pillows.

We also watched the birds of prey display and the gentleman who took it has such a great way about him. Calm, fun and obviously very passionate. Our children loved it and as adults we learnt/saw a lot as well. The bird of prey Centre is very well maintained.

The food service area was pizza, pasta, nachos, children’s lunch boxes and everything was made to order. Fresh, hot and very tasty.

We were here for a 4hr session but under normal conditions we could of easily spent a whole day here. One of the cleanest attractions and most well maintained we’ve ever been too. Great work all and if anyone is looking for something to do with the children then please support these guys, I’m sure you’ll love it.

Love, love, love this place (and so do the kids)! The perfect recipe for a great day out, great friendly atmosphere, family friendly rides, entertaining activities, an amazing falconry display, and when you’re ready to refuel, some tasty freshly cooked food. What stood out today was the friendliness of all the hosts, the well thought out one way systems to maintain social distancing, and the cleanliness of the whole attraction. We felt safe and secure, and just enjoyed our day, we hope to go back soon.

"What a Great Family Day Out! If you're staying anywhere along the North Devon/North Cornwall coast, a day at the Milky Way is a must.

"We've been coming to this area for many years, and our first visit was when our eldest boy was around 10-11. He's now nearly 17, and this October, when we were in Appledore, he (and his 12 yr old brother) asked if we could go to the Milky Way! They love it still, and us parents always enjoy it. There really is something for everyone. The park has a family-run feel to it, with all the staff being friendly and welcoming. We particularly like the Birds of Prey demonstrations (inside and outside), archery, the roller coasters, and, of course, Merlin. Merlin has entertained our boys (and us!) over the years, he's taught us to juggle, and he's always been great with the park's guests, of all ages. Keep it up, park owners. You've got a winning team there, and a great venue for a fun day for the family."
