"We visited here literally on day 1 of the reopening, post Covid-19 lockdown. Both of our children are under 5 and the Milky Way could not have been anymore perfect.

From the moment we arrived we knew that every precaution had been taken from a safety/cleanliness perspective. The lady on the entrance who welcomed was excellent and really interactive with our children. This theme continued with every member of staff that we came across. A special mention to Barry who was overseeing the bouncy pillows. He was great.

The park is really well maintained and the attractions are brilliant, especially for younger children. Our two particularly loved the Caterpillar Rollercoaster, Doughnuts (Gravity ride), Dodgems and the pillows.

We also watched the birds of prey display and the gentleman who took it has such a great way about him. Calm, fun and obviously very passionate. Our children loved it and as adults we learnt/saw a lot as well. The bird of prey Centre is very well maintained.

The food service area was pizza, pasta, nachos, children’s lunch boxes and everything was made to order. Fresh, hot and very tasty.

We were here for a 4hr session but under normal conditions we could of easily spent a whole day here. One of the cleanest attractions and most well maintained we’ve ever been too. Great work all and if anyone is looking for something to do with the children then please support these guys, I’m sure you’ll love it.

Love, love, love this place (and so do the kids)! The perfect recipe for a great day out, great friendly atmosphere, family friendly rides, entertaining activities, an amazing falconry display, and when you’re ready to refuel, some tasty freshly cooked food. What stood out today was the friendliness of all the hosts, the well thought out one way systems to maintain social distancing, and the cleanliness of the whole attraction. We felt safe and secure, and just enjoyed our day, we hope to go back soon.

"What a Great Family Day Out! If you're staying anywhere along the North Devon/North Cornwall coast, a day at the Milky Way is a must.

"We've been coming to this area for many years, and our first visit was when our eldest boy was around 10-11. He's now nearly 17, and this October, when we were in Appledore, he (and his 12 yr old brother) asked if we could go to the Milky Way! They love it still, and us parents always enjoy it. There really is something for everyone. The park has a family-run feel to it, with all the staff being friendly and welcoming. We particularly like the Birds of Prey demonstrations (inside and outside), archery, the roller coasters, and, of course, Merlin. Merlin has entertained our boys (and us!) over the years, he's taught us to juggle, and he's always been great with the park's guests, of all ages. Keep it up, park owners. You've got a winning team there, and a great venue for a fun day for the family."

What started as a "something to fill a morning" ended up as one of the most fun days of our holiday so far. I can't recommend The Milky Way enough to any family looking for a fun day in north devon! From the staff at the check in desk right through to all the ride staff, everyone was welcoming and happy. Our kids (12 and 8) loved the rides and shows (Merlin was brilliant) and our whole family was amazed by David's bird shows! Both David and Merlin obviously love their jobs and this shines through! After watching the short video about the history of the park and how Trevor still pitches in I was still shocked to see him mowing the falconry pitch and was even more shocked when he stopped to advise us of where the best seats in the outdoor arena are. Overall we had a brilliant day at the park and will recommend it to anyone who will listen!

Love the roller coaster. Loved the space shooter ride. Loved the little stars section. The little balloon room was super cool! Soft play was great with the assort course for the older kids. Food was good! We had a jacket with chilli, the kids had chips and cheese which was great. Train ride was adorable. We had an amazing time. If they franchised this business, I would buy one. It was that great. Also front of house were kind and caring. My son has additional needs and they were super aware of his hearing aids, they even offered to turn things down for him on some rides. Which wasn't needed but super kind of them to offer. We LOVED the paining area and also outside. My son loved the outdoor hill with the doughnut that you slide down. My daughter also enjoyed just sitting in a doughnut too

Fantastic value, brilliant staff throughout and so much to do. We visited today for the third year running. My seven year old son wants to live there! We enjoyed the new donut slide, the bird show was great, the vertical slides never fail to impress and the dodgems are also a big hit. Restaurant food delicious. Archery staff very patient, 1 on 1 tuition. Great venue whatever the weather. Seriously cannot fault this place, it gets better. Don’t know anywhere else remotely comparable.
